The Martínez Bujandas have been making Rioja for over 100 years and remain one of the most innovative and influential families in the region. Like many Rioja producers, they also have vineyards in dynamic La Mancha, and have been experimenting with plantings of international stars like Cabernet, Merlot, Malbec and even Sauvignon Blanc. This is the second vintage of this lively white.Picking in the early dawn, and using the latest cool fermentation technology, they,ve captured the fruit at perfect ripeness, as you,ll taste in the tropical character of the wine. Balanced by a citrusy freshness, it makes a tasty glassful solo or with food , it'sespecially good with chargrilled chicken, houmous with pitta or gently spiced stir-fry.
