The finest wines of Gavi come from the inner sanctum of Gavi di Gavi, home to Villa Broglia, one of the region'sbest family estates. Records show its vineyards have existed since AD 972. They lie on well drained slopes at a height of 300 metres, which lends an extra elegance to the wines. Crafted from hand picked Cortese grapes and regularly scoring 90 Parker points, the top rating Tre Bicchieri from Gambero Rosso, and medals from other international competitions, Villa Broglia is first class, displaying a wonderful balance of creamy roundness and intense mineral freshness.
