A glass of this wine is guaranteed to transport you to sun-soaked Provence , it'sso fruity and supple, and a perfect antidote to cloudy days.Domaine La Caumonne was purchased in 1970 by Jean Roux and has since passed to his son, Richard. It lies south of Avignon in the beautiful Provence countryside, just 8 kilometres from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Richard makes Châteauneuf, Côtes-du-Rhône and this splendid Vaucluse Vin de Pays as well as growing olives.La Caumonne is an exciting blend of Grenache, Syrah and Merlot, made all the more ripe and fruity thanks to a great vintage. Full of wonderful berry flavours and hints of spice, it'sdelicious with grilled lamb chops and ratatouille, hearty pork sausages and pasta dishes.
