Felton Road Bannockburn Chardonnay 2014

New Zealand's Central Otago boasts a perfect climate for Burgundian varietals Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Winemakers from all over the world queue up to gain experience at this biodynamic estate. It has three vineyards within Bannockburn ' The Elms, Calvert and Cornish Point ' with different soils, aspect and altitude. Wild yeasts, wild malo, minimal interference, plus fermentation and lees ageing in barrel add to the richness of this wine. It's a brilliant balance of minerality, citrus intensity and broad peach ripeness with integrated oak notes. A true masterpiece ' serve with fine white meat or fish dishes.
