Some of the best Australian Merlot is produced in Central Victoria. It'sa thick skinned grape Down Under, so winemakers have to take care to avoid over tough tannins. Not a problem in this Victorian Merlot which, thanks to the cool overnight temperatures, is soft, velvet smooth and supple. Made at the McPherson winery exclusively for us, this red is full of fruity charm. For a long time the McPherson team has paid special attention to this variety and the hard work is paying off.
