This supple red is from Fabio and Celita Ravaioli's Poderi dal Nespoli estate, comprising immaculately tended vineyards and a beautifully designed, eco friendly winery and cultural centre. The family's aim is to make Romagna a go-to destination for food and wine lovers. Celita is the winemaker, with advice from outside consultant Scipione Giuliani, who has helped take the family's wines to new levels of quality. The cellar was named among the top five of the region and awarded Gambero Rosso's 'Tre Bicchieri'. This wine combines Sangiovese with Bordeaux stars Cabernet and Merlot, which were left to hang on the vine a month after main harvest for extra concentration. Velvety with mocha complexity, it makes a superb partner for lamb or beef.
